The role of cosmetics is not only to beautify, but also to strengthen the skin and delay its aging processes. For a healthy appearance, vitamins are essential and are involved in all the basic processes of the body to keep it functioning properly.

Vitamins used in cosmetics have antioxidant properties, thus protecting against premature skin aging (eg vitamin C); stimulate the activity of fibroblasts thereby stimulating the production of collagen and elastin (e.g. vitamin A); improve barrier functions , preventing the penetration of harmful factors from the external environment into the skin (e.g. vitamin E). The potential of vitamins in a cosmetic can be increased by combining them properly. For example, vitamin A has an exfoliating effect, so moisturizing  vitamin E is added to creams that contain retinoids.
